You may receive an email falsely claiming to be from StyleSeat that states your account has been suspended, or that you need to click a link to "upgrade the security" in your account. Don't. These emails are not from StyleSeat.
Sending fake emails is called "phishing" as the sender is "fishing" for your personal, financial or account information. Phishing emails usually convey a false sense of urgency. They're hoping you'll fall for their sense of urgency and ignore warning signs that it's fake.
If there is an urgent need for you to complete something on your account, you can find this information by logging in to your StyleSeat account.
If you clicked on any links in the email, we encourage you to immediately change your password.
- If you clicked on a link and entered any personal or financial information, please contact us at email@example.com. We are happy to review your account to see if any other action is needed.
Our number one priority is to keep our professionals happy, and a big part of that is helping you and your business to be safe online.
If you are ever unsure about a message from someone claiming to work for or represent StyleSeat, please check with us before giving any information to that person. You can reach our trust and safety team by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
