StyleSeat offers protection to Professionals in the form of No Show and Late Cancellation policies. This helps by allowing you to charge a fee for any cancellation with less than 24 hours notice, or a no show on the day of the appointment. You have a choice to choose the policy that works best for your business.
Once the policy is enabled, your clients will all be required to book their appointments with their saved credit card - and this card can be charged in the event that the client cancels late or does not show up.
Sometimes things come up. There are sometimes special circumstances where you may not wish to charge your client. Keep in mind you can always waive these fees for the client if you choose to. Many Professionals love this extra layer of help that ExpressPay offers.
NOTE: To enforce a no-show/late cancellation policy through StyleSeat, you will need to have ExpressPay active and require a credit card to for clients to book with you.
1. Go to StyleSeat.com
2. If you haven't already, log-in to your StyleSeat Professional account by clicking the "LOG IN" button in the upper right-hand corner
3. Click "Settings"
4. Locate the section labeled "EXPRESS PAY SETTINGS"
5. Choose which of the three no-show/late cancellation policies you'd like for your StyleSeat account
6. Click the "SAVE" button in the "EXPRESS PAY SETTINGS" section
