You can pay for your appointment in cash if you don't want to use a credit or debit card. Just let your Pro know before you leave that they should check the appointment out as cash and you'll be good to go.
Before leaving your professional's location:
- Let them know to check you out as "CASH" from their calendar
- Your professional needs to mark you as "CASH" during the checkout, if the professional is set to automatic checkout, checking your appointment out as cash will stop the app from charging your card
Each professional has the responsibility to mark/checkout an appointment as "CASH" to ensure their client is not charged. If your Pro makes a mistake, you will need to reach out to them directly for a refund.
If your professional forgets to check out your appointment as cash and your card is charged, please reach out to them directly for a refund.
NOTE: Depending on the appointment type or what plan your professional is on, some appointments may be required to charge through the app. We’ve found that most clients prefer the seamless and secure experience of paying through StyleSeat and some of our more advanced features require payments to be cashless.
You should receive notifications before and after the appointment when you have an upcoming appointment that will be charged to a card.
