You can easily collect prepayments from clients by sending a Payment Request in advance. Asking for a deposit can make a big difference in terms of cash flow for your business. It's a common problem for many service-based professionals, especially when times are tough. Minimize your chances of non-payment, or simply opt to receive funds now vs later. No matter the reasoning, securing money for your time is always a good choice!
How it Works
When you tap Request Payment in the appointment details, clients will get a text message with a link that allows them to pay in advance from their phone.
You can view any prepayment transactions in the Payments tab alongside your standard transactions and they will be deposited according to your regular deposit schedule. You also have the option to reschedule a prepaid appointment by going into your calendar and editing the service date. The prepaid funds will follow the appointment to the new date and time! Your clients also have the ability to reschedule a prepaid appointment in their client account. More details on this below!
After the appointment your clients will receive an SMS request to tip and review your services.
Clients can also opt to prepay you directly from their end. All your clients need to do is click on the prepay tab inside of their account to exchange funds instantly! More details on how it works for them here.
