Whether you’re a loyal customer or new to your professional’s space, digital gift cards are a quick and easy way for you to pay in advance for future services or give as a gift! We’re seeing a huge trend right now in client’s purchasing digital gift cards to support their loved professionals and set themselves up for beauty & grooming success. Here’s some helpful information on this new and exciting feature!
How To Purchase a Digital Gift Card:
You can easily purchase a Digital Gift Card by clicking the Purchase A Gift Card button on your professionals page.
From here a window will pop up to select the gift card amount. You can choose one of our pre-set options or a custom amount.
You will then be directed to the payment page to enter your credit card information. Because the gift card is digital, you will need a credit card to make the purchase.
*You must be logged into your account to purchase the gift card. If you are not logged in, a login window will appear where you can enter your email and password.
Once completed, you will receive a Thank you for your purchase! pop up and email with the gift card details, including the confirmation code.
Redeeming Your Digital Gift Card:
Your professional will be responsible for managing and redeeming your gift card. All you need to do is show up and enjoy your already prepaid service!
- We recommend that you keep the confirmation email to present to your professional at the time of your appointment.
- When you confirm your future appointment, be sure to add a note to the details that you would like to redeem your gift card.
What If My Pro Doesn’t Offer Digital Gift Cards:
If your professional doesn’t offer this option, be sure to let them know you're interested in purchasing a Digital Gift Card! As an alternative, you can also book a future appointment (at a later date, after shelter in place ends) and prepay for the appointment today!
What Happens If My Appointment Is Cancelled:
If you plan to redeem your gift card and the appointment is cancelled, you can use the gift card on another appointment. Your gift card balance will remain the same.
Am I charged automatically for the purchase?
Yes, your card will be automatically charged when you purchase a gift card.
Who gets the funds from the purchase?
Your professional receives the funds instantly to their account
Does it expire? What if I don’t know when I’ll book my appointment?
No problem! That’s the beauty of a gift card, the funds never expire so you can redeem them when it's convenient for you!
What if I decide not to use my gift card and want a refund?
All gift card purchases are non-refundable. You will need to coordinate directly with your professional.
If The Digital Gift Card Is A Gift:
We are still in the early stages of building out this feature. Today, we don’t offer a way to automatically send the gift card details to the gift recipient, but that is something we’d like to offer in the future. For now, you can forward the confirmation email to the lucky recipient and add a note during purchase that the gift card is for someone else (always a good idea to include the full name of the recipient). When the person goes to redeem their gift card, make sure they notify the pro that they will be using a gift card purchased by you for payment.
